looking at other eu countries netherlands is pretty strict compared to most. germany allows way more sites. malta barely restrcts anything. even belgium with their strict rules is more reasonable than ksa. why are we always going hardest on regulation?

Dutch regulatory culture favors paternalism. Same with drug policy, sex work, etc - technically legal but heavily controlled and restricted and gambling fits that pattern. Legal but make it annoying enough that only "safe" options remain viable

one side regulations needed cause gambling addiction is real and destroys families on the other hand current ksa system is poorly designed and creates more problems than it solves. here comes crypto casinos and fill gap still with serious risks while we have no good solution and wait forever fro regulators figure out balance between protection and freedom

GL @DoCoin hopefully KSA eventually creates system that balances protection with reasonable access. Current approach just pushes people to the line..
